Roasted Kale Chips

Roasted Kale Chips -

Ingredients -
1lb of Fresh Kale
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
2-3 tbsp Olive Oil

Process -
1. Wash and Dry your kale and preheat your oven to 275 degrees
2. Remove the rib from each kale leaf and place leaves into a bowl
3. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil to bowl
4. Add the seasonings to the kale - Be VERY careful to not add to much seasoning, especially salt. The leaves are going to shrink by about 2/3's, so imagine that your salting the final product. The flavor really concentrates on the chips. Plus, you can always add a little salt when they're done if need.
5. Arrange the leaves into a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet
6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and set your timer for 12 minutes
7. Turn the kale leaves so the bottoms of the chips can begin to crisp and set the timer for 10 additional minutes
8. Remove the sheet from the oven and check the kale for crispiness - No worries if they're not done. Just throw those puppies back in the oven for another 3-5 minutes, then test again. Be patient. Remember, you want them to be crispy like chips.
